Hourly Rates on: 1. Summer Road Grading & Maintenance 2. Winter Maintenance & Snow Plowing (Motor Grader 3. Winter Snow Plowing (Tandem Truck W/plow, Wing & Sand Unit 4. Winter Snow Plowing With Pick Up Truck & Plow Contracts Will Begin on June 1, 2025, and Will Run for a Three Year Period Ending on May 31, 2028. The Contractor Shall Be Solely Responsible for All Associated Costs, Including Equipment, Cutting Edge Replacements, Operator Wages, Fuel, Maintenance, and Insurance. These Costs Shall Constitute Full and Complete Compensation for All Services Rendered. Contractors Must Adhere Strictly to the Route and Schedule Provided by Grant Valley Township, Which May Include Plowing Paved Roads at 6:00 Am or Earlier or as Requested by a Township Supervisor, the Township is Recommending Paved Roads to Be Plowed After 1'' of Snowfall Accumulation, Plowing Shall Prioritize Paved (Tar) Roads First, Followed by Gravel Roads. Accurate and Detailed Time Log Sheets Must Be Submitted for All Work Performed. Contractors Must Also Provide Proof of Available Back-up Equipment to Ensure Uninterrupted Service and Be Available to Respond to Township Needs 24 Hours a Day, as Required. All Quotes Must Include a Certificate of Insurance Showing General Liability Coverage of at Least $2,000,000 Csl and Proof of Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Insurance Meeting Minimum Legal Requirements the Grant Valley Town Board Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and/or All Quotes and Further Reserves the Right to Award the Contract in the Best Interest of the Township.
