Completion Date: Oct. 31, 2025 The area housing the Dissolved Air Filtration (DAF) tank is to be repurposed into a garage. This includes removal and demolition of the equipment, piping, conduit, etc. associated with the DAF Tank. Remove knockout panel for new garage door on the south side of the building. This will include relocation of an overhead water pipe. Remove and replace curb and add apron for overhead door. Demo and replace electrical items. Demo and patch slab for interceptor tank below grade. Electrical for owner compressor. Existing Heat Recovery Unit and duct to be removed. Relocate existing unit heater. Add unit heater and associated MEP items. Install wall exhaust fan with duct and damper. Patch CMU wall at removed louver. Alternate bid for epoxy flooring. See drawings and specs. Include any surface cleaning, grinding or other prep necessary. BID SECURITY. Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Bid including all add alternates, must accompany each Bid in accord with the Instructions to Bidders 00 1000.7. Cash, Bidders Bond, cashier's checks or certified checks will be accepted. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. Successful bidder shall begin the work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time of 100% completion by October 31, 2025. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the contract time, the Contractor shall pay to the Owner as liquidated damages, the sum of $500 per day past the agreed completion date.
