Demolition, site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: 1A - General Works: Doors, Frames, and Hardware, Relocating Furniture, New Furniture, Final Construction Cleaning, Rough Carpentry, and Specialties. 2A - Selective Demolition: Interior and Exterior Demolition. 7B - Waterproofing: Waterproofing, Expansion Joints, Sealants. 8B - Glass and Glazing: Sheet Metal Flashing, Storefront and Interior Glass, Electrochromic Glass. 9A - Drywall and Framing: Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, ACT Ceilings, Linear Metal Ceilings. 9B - Terrazzo: Resinous Matrix Terrazzo Flooring. 9C - Soft Flooring: Carpet, VCT, and Base. 9D - Paint: Interior Paint. 10A - Specialties: Inpro Wall Panel System. 15A - Mechanical: HVAC. 15B - Fire Protection: Fire Sprinkler System. 16A - Electrical: Power, Lighting, and Low Voltage. *Interested bidders/subcontractors are to contact Robins & Morton Group to be added to the bid list. All Subcontractors providing more than $150,000 in services or are engaged in work associated with the building exterior envelope (ex: glazing, masonry veneer, precast, EIFS, waterproofing, roofing, etc.) are required to provide a Bid Bond (AIA A310) in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. Such Subcontractors will also be required to post a Payment & Performance Bond in the amount of the subcontract from a surety with an A.M. Best Company Rating of A- or better. Others may be required to post a bond as well at Robins & Morton's discretion based on individual facts and circumstances. Bids must be submitted on project specific Bid Package Form furnished in the bid documents. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids if such action is determined to be in the best interest of the Owner. This project has a goal of utilizing 6.8% Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.
