Site work and paving for a civil project in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work to be performed under this Contract shall generally include demolition, storm sewer, headwalls, earthwork, paving, traffic striping, traffic control, and erosion control. Questions should be directed, in writing, to Taylor Schmidt at tschmidt@madisoncountyal.gov and Jennie Weatherly at jweatherly@madisoncountyal.gov Deadline for questions is May 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM CDT. The amount of the cashiers check or Bid Bond shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the Contractors bid but is not required to be in an amount more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000). The Madison County Commission reserves the right to award this bid on an all-or-none or item by item basis, to refuse all bids, and to waive technicalities. The Project is located at eleven separate sites on Hobbs Island Road between Butler Basin Boulevard Southeast and Vann Road in Madison County, Alabama. The Scope of Work to be performed under this Contract shall generally include demolition, storm sewer, headwalls, earthwork, paving, traffic striping, traffic control, and erosion control. The Contractor is responsible for executing all work required to construct complete in place and read to operate improvements shown in the Contract Documents and furnishing all labor, material, tools, equipment, and incidentals that are necessary to complete the Scope of Work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
