Water Treatment Plant Operations, Repair & Maintenance (Second post), at Fillmore Fish Hatchery, Ventura County, California Description of Services The Contractor will provide to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW): labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for quarterly inspection, maintenance, and servicing of a Domestic Water Treatment Plant (WTP), in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained herein. All inspection and maintenance work will ensure that the equipment continues to function properly and safely Location of Services: Services shall be performed at the Fillmore Fish Hatchery, 612 E. Telegraph Road, Fillmore, Ventura County, 93016. Contract Term Date: Upon CDFW approval (if <$50,000) or DGS approval (if >$50,000, except hazardous activity >$10,000) through June 30, 2028 License Required: Bidders must have both of the following valid certifications issued by the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB): o D1 or higher Water Distribution Operator Certificate and/or o T2 or higher Water Treatment Operator Certificate. DVBE Requirements The DVBE Incentive, (Senate Bill 115, Chaptered October 2005, Regulations adopted October 2007) provides bidding firms with the opportunity to receive incentive calculations which may then place the bidding firm in line for the contract award when they elect to partner with California certified DVBE businesses. The bidding firm may receive a five (5) percent incentive. The rules and regulations of this law are contained in Title 2, California Code of Regulations, Subchapter 10.6. A copy of the regulations is available upon request. Bidder’s Security 1. Bids of $5,000 and over shall have enclosed, a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or a Bidder's Bond executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, made payable to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The awarding agency reserves the right to reject all bids. The agency is not required to award an agreement.
