Pavilion Project - Concrete Bids over $30,512 will be required to include a 5% bid security, either by Bid Bond PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construct a 30' x 50' timber framed open wall pavilion, two single occupancy privies and a ten car parking lot located on property owned by the Bois Blanc Pines School District located on the NE corner of Comanche Ave and Huron (Sioux) Ave. Pointe Aux Pins, MI. 49775 There will be 5 Bid packages: 1) Tree, Brush and Site Clearing 2) Excavation 3) Concrete Slabs and Piers 4) Timber Framed Pavilion 5) Privy Package (Project will not include Electric or HVAC work) Bid packages will need to be bid in their entirety, partial bids will not be accepted. CONCRETE SLABS AND PIERS: (August, 2025) -Provide, install and pour 10, 28" x 66" Sonotube piers, (42" below grade, 24" above grade) Excavation and backfill by site contractor, 32' x 52' x 4" slab with 16' turned down edges for pavilion -12' x 16' x 4" slab for privies -Compact all slab areas with vibratory compactor -All concrete to be minimum of 3000 psi. Tender has been cancelled. When the project will be re-tendered is undetermined at this time.
