The City of Elm Springs will accept bids for application of asingle-layer chip seal asphaltsurface treatment to Water Avenue / Brush Creek Road fromJayroe Avenue westward to thecity limits, approximately 2.4miles in length. Prospectivebidders may obtain plans andspecifications from the CityClerk. Contact Connie Newmanat (479) 248-7323, Extension 3,for further information including price of documents, available delivery methods, and shipping costs. Each Bid shall be accompaniedby a certified check on a responsible bank and payable tothe order of the Owner, or a Bid Bond acceptable to the Ownerin the amount of five percent ofthe total amount bid. The successful bidder will be requiredto furnish a performance andpayment bond equal to theamount of the contract. The Cityof Elm Springs reserves theright to reject any or all bids andto waive any formalities deemedto be in the City's best interest. Question Deadline 05/07/2025 submit to the Owner a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof not later than seven (7) calendar days before the bids are to be opened. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. 6.3 Any interpretation or correction of the Technical Specifications and Contract Documents will be made only by Addendum duly issued by the Engineer. A copy of such Addendum will be mailed, e-mailed, or otherwise delivered to each prospective Bidder listed in
