SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted for the following: 2025 Bituminous Seal Coat 27,364 S.Y. Single Bituminous Seal Coat with #8Aggregate as per Pub. 408, Section 470 105,612 S.Y. Double Bituminous Seal Coat with #8 Aggregate as per Pub. 408, Section470 All materials and work must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards, Current Edition. Bidders for the Bituminous Seal Coat proposal must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification with their bid. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals should be marked "2025 Bituminous Seal Coat Proposal for Letting of May 5, 2025". The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid made payable to West Penn Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. West Penn Township Boards of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
