The Project Includes the Following Work: Construction of a New 2.0 Mg Composite Elevated Water Storage Tank. The Bid Guaranty May Be of Two Forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond Using the Form in the Contract Documents. (the Amount of the Bid Does Not Have to Appear on This Form.) 2. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit in Favor of the City of Huron in the Amount of 10% of the Bid. If the Contract is Awarded, a Contract Bond Will Be Required, Which is a 100% Payment and Performance Bond. After the Award of the Contract Let by Competitive Bid and Prior to the Time the Contract is Entered Into, Bidders Shall Submit the Affidavit Required Under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 That the Bidder Was Not Charged With Any Delinquent Personal Property Taxes in Erie County, Ohio. The City of Huron Reserves the Right Pursuant to Orc.9.312 to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Any Nonmaterial Irregularity in Determining the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder. This Project is Subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (Babaa) Requirements Under Title Ix of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Iija), Pub. L. 117-58, 70901-70953. Absent an Approved Waiver, All Iron, Steel, Manufactured Products, and Construction Materials Used in This Project Must Be Produced in the United States. This Procurement is Subject to the Epa Policy of Encouraging the Participation of Small Business in Rural Areas (Sbras). All Bids Are Subject to Ordinance No. 2022-22 Local Preference.
