The 15 kV Construction and Installation Work at Huron Public Power Substation at 1156 Rye Beach Road includes installation of new 15 kV switchgear sections furnished by the City, related concrete foundation and cable vault, underground conduits and cables, connections to a new power transformer furnished and installed on foundation by the City, interconnection control wiring and auxiliary station power distribution modifications. Each bid must contain the full names of the party or parties making the bid, an affidavit as to the interested parties, and if a corporation is not chartered in Ohio, a certificate authorizing the corporation to do business in Ohio. A Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount of the Bid in favor of the Owner or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of the Bid payable to the Owner is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept any bid deemed most favorable. Firms must comply with all federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations. The Owner is exempt from all local, state, and federal taxes. Firms are responsible for the collection and payment of all applicable sales and other taxes.
