Renovation of an educational facility in Huron, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The intent of this project is to replace the existing 150-ton, roof mounted, air-cooled chiller serving the BGSU Firelands campus Cedar Point Center. 2. Protection of the roof. 3. Modifications to the existing chiller support steel. 4. Painting. 5. Replacement of the existing chilled water system pumps with variable speed pumps. 6. Conversion of the chilled water system to variable primary flow. 7. Installation of a chilled water system flow meter, pressure bypass valve and controls. 8. All associated electrical work including power to the chiller, variable frequency drives, pumps and controllers. EDGE Participation Goal: 5.0% of contract Domestic steel use is required per ORC 153.011. Questions due for A/E: August 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Question Deadline 08/14/2025
