Sealed bids will be received by the City of Huron for the US 6 Phase II Project (ERI-US 0006-16.27). Only ODOT Pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids. Each bid must contain the full names of the parties making the bid, an affidavit as to interested parties, and if the bidder is a corporation not chartered in Ohio, a proper certificate authorizing the corporation to do business in Ohio. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid in favor of the Owner, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the Owner. The bid guaranty benefits the Owner if the undersigned fails to execute the contract and furnish Bond and insurance certificates within ten days after contract award notification. To be considered responsive, bidders must purchase a set of plans and bid documents, follow all instructions, and be on the Plan Holders List. Bids from contractors not on this list will be disqualified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informality, and accept any bid deemed most favorable.
