Site work for a water / sewer project in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
SSE Music Sanitary Laterals The Contractor shall remove existing sanitary sewer and install sanitary sewer lateral pipe from the property of SSE Music to a connection point within the George Street roadway. The new sanitary lateral shall connect to the existing lateral near the property facility and connect to the Onalaska 30-inch sanitary sewer main. The contractor shall also be responsible for the removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter and any concrete flatwork necessary to complete the Sanitary sewer lateral work. The contractor shall be responsible for the removal of bituminous pavement. The contractor shall be responsible for the placement of the coarse base and preparation for new bituminous pavement to be installed by the City of La Crosse Streets Department. The Contractor shall be responsible for the location, protection, and reconnection of all private utility services (per plans and specifications). The Contractor shall be responsible to maintain reasonable access to the properties during course of the work and the contractor will be responsible for providing alternative access to the properties whenever primary access routes conflict with the work required under this contract. These items shall be considered incidental to the project and will not have a bid item. If accepted, the Contractor shall be responsible for the proper abandonment of existing sewer main that will no longer be utilized after the sanitary lateral work is completed.
