FIELD AND STREAM BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT - Includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace an existing culvert structure on Field and Stream Road with a 40.5-foot long 13'-4" x 3'-10" aluminum box culvert with end walls and wing walls. A motion on the bids will be made at the scheduled West Bethlehem Township meeting. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. Hard copies are available at the Township Engineer's office, Harshman CE Group, LLC located at 2455 Park Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, upon payment of $50.00. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to West Bethlehem Township. The bid envelopes must be clearly marked FIELD AND STREAM BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT. West Bethlehem Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the projects. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond,100% Payment Bond, and 100% Maintenance Bond for the FIELD AND STREAM BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by West Bethlehem Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
