Construct conduit and pole bases for roadway lighting along Hwy 231 in Morgantown, KY. All Bidders must comply with the following: All contractors and subcontractors must be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. Due to the Federal Funding Source, this project is subject to the Federal Davis-Bacon Act wage rate requirements and Buy America restrictions. Bids shall include a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Morgantown, in amount not less than 5% of bid. All work must comply with the LPA Guide, Federal Highway Rules, guidelines, local, state and federal laws. All bids must be made on the required Bid Form and shall not be altered in any way. The complete bid document must be returned, not just the bid pages. Failure to return all pages may result in a bid not being eligible for award. The LPA reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The bidder shall certify that it has secured participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises ("DBE") in the amount of 0% percent of the total value of this contract and that the DBE participation is in compliance with the requirements of 49 CFR 26 and the policies of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet pertaining to the DBE Program.
