The Shelby County Road Department and the Shelby County Fiscal Court will be taking sealed bids for a 8'x5' bridge/box clvert on Jeptha Knob Road. All approaches to structures must be resurfaced. Description of the work is available by calling the Shelby County Road Department. The work must be completed by, May 30, 2025. If the project is not completed by the respective date, there will be a $500 fine per day until the job complete. All bidders must be prequalified through the Kentucky Department of Transportation. The contractor is responsible to obtain all required permits. Shelby County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept the bid deemed by it to be in its best interest, not necessarily the lowest bid; the right to disqualify bids from bidders not deemed to be qualified; the right to disqualify bids deemed to be defective, and the right to waive defects in bids where such defects are not deemed significant.
