The CITY OF SHELBYVILLE will be accepting sealed bids for Road Salt for the 2025- 2026 Fiscal Year. Salt must meet Kentucky Transportation specifications, salt to be bid as delivered price per ton to the City of Shelbyville Public Works Department, 787 Kentucky Street, Shelbyville, Kentucky. Bids shall be marked on the outside with the title "Salt Bid" and the time and date of opening. Bids shall be addressed to: City of Shelbyville 315 Washington Street Shelbyville, KY 40065 The City of Shelbyville reserves the right to accept the bid deemed by it to be in its best interest, not necessarily the lowest bid; the right to disqualify bids deemed to be defective, and the right to waive defects in bids where such defects are not deemed significant.
