Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Boulder, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Reference Number 0000385592 This project is the complete removal and replacement of parking lot 548 - approximately 70,000SF. This work is being awarded to a general contractor rather than an asphalt paving contractor due to affected systems of the replacement. Work includes irrigation modifications to allow for fulldepth replacement, light pole modifications, addition of stormwater quality features, tree plantings, etc. Work to take place summer of May 12 - August 15, 2025. Liquidated damages of $2,702/day will be assessed if the contractor does not substantially complete parking lot areas per the agreed schedule. Building access will need to be maintained during construction. Due to the anticipated construction value, prevailing wage AND Buy Clean Colorado will be in effect. It is understood that all utilities shall be potholed prior to construction start.
