The project is awarded to Earle Asphalt Company in the amount of $8,749,713.13 The Project includes the following Work: The proposed project will extend a new 12,065-linear-foot, 12-inch sanitary sewer force main from the existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) to the existing Game Creek pump station. A second 6,790-linear-foot force main is proposed to extend from the Game Creek pump station to McLane pump station. The second force main is 8-inches and features air-vacuum release valves at all local high points. A pigging station is proposed at Game Creek pump station to allow for regular cleaning of the force main, and air-vacuum release valves will be placed at all local high points. The Game Creek pump station is also proposed to receive a significant upgrade to convey flows from new development in the region; these upgrades include but aren't limited to: a second 10' diameter wet well, new valve vault with metering manhole, bypass to the existing force main, and new generator and electrical service upgrade.
