Site work for a civil project in Muhlenberg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work to be performed for the project includes supplying all labor, equipment, and materials for the removal 120+- feet of water main pipe in Laurel Run (Muhlenberg Twp), capping and abandoning in place the remaining pipe, backfill and spread gravel bar evenly over removed pipe, remove 10+- feet of existing terracotta sanitary sewer main and replace it with ductile iron pipe (DIP), and stream bank restoration with R-6 rock lining. Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions May 1st 2025, 5:00 PM EDT Each Proposal for the Project shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form provided by the Contract Documents, drawn to the order of the Muhlenberg Township Authority, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the extended Bid Amount, as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured. The Muhlenberg Township Authority, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the Bid which is in the best interest of the Authority, consistent with the laws affecting municipal contract awards.
