Site work for a mixed-use development in Renton, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
This project adds water quality retrofits along Edmonds Avenue NE in the Highbury Park neighborhood through two media filtration vaults. Conceptual design called for an 8-ft by 24-ft unit at the intersection of Edmonds Ct NE and Edmonds Avenue NE, and a 6-ft by 8-ft unit at the intersection of Edmonds Avenue NE and Ferndale Avenue NE. This project maintains compliance with the Municipal Stormwater General Permit. Funding is anticipated through an Ecology Water Quality grant as this project is on an Ecology-approved action plan. As of April 30, 2025 ,This project is included in the city's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
