This project includes necessary stormwater improvements for the Brookside Creek Subdivision located at the SW corner of 191st Street and Harlem Avenue in Will County in Tinley Park, IL. This work consists of clearing, topsoil stripping and stockpiling, excavation and grading of detention and compensatory storage basins, excavation and haul off-site, installation of storm sewer, storm culverts and stormwater control structure, topsoil respread, ground stabilization and seeding, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements as shown and described herein. Completion Date: Dec. 31, 2025 QA - 05/09/2025 : The completion date is in accordance with the Development Agreement that the Village entered with the Developer. The agreement allows for adjustment, however we will not adjust the completion date at this time. The bid due date will be extended. We will provide more details by EOB on Monday May 12,2025. Addendum 2 May 13, 2025 Special provision removal and disposal of excavated materials has been revised: The Contractor shall have the sole and exclusive responsibility and liability for complying with all federal, state and local laws pertaining to the removal and disposal of excavated materials from the project site, including but not limited to the requirements for the excavation, transportation and off-site disposal of any soils or clean construction or demolition debris (CCDD) at a CCDD fill operation or facility. The Contractor shall conduct appropriate testing as needed to obtain Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Uncontaminated Soil Certification Form LPC-663 form for disposal of the soil located in the project limits. The Contractor is hereby notified all responsibilities, obligations and liability relating to complying with Public Act 96-1416 (which amended the Illinois Environmental Protection Act by changing Sections 3.160, 22.51, 31.1 and 42 and by adding Section 22.51(a) and (b)) and the regulations promulgated there under, shall remain solely with the Contractor. The Contractors responsibilities may include but not be limited to any required testing, dumping fees and proper documentation for disposal of such materials. All costs or expenses incurred or associated directly or indirectly with the Contractors compliance with the requirements of this paragraph will not be paid for separately but will be considered included in the total contract cost
