Asphalt Replacement Project Each Bidder for Asphalt Replacement Project shall be a licensed Earthwork and Paving Contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, must possess a valid Class A License or equivalent at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. The successful bidders must be registered with the State Department of Industrial Relations and have the appropriate, current California contractor's license, as indicated above, for the scope included in the bid, prior to submitting a bid . The Engineering Estimate for this project is $420,000.00 Pre-Bid RFI Deadline: May 25, 2025 @ 4:00 PM Trade Contractor bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, identifying the Project Total broken down by each contract site. Any bid received after the time indicated will be returned unopened. East Whittier City SD reserves the right to postpone the date and time for submission of Bid. The successful bidder shall commence work with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and complete all work within the time period and milestones from the official start date as illustrated in the Bidding Documents. The East Whittier City SD has established a liquidated damage rate of $2,000 per calendar day for each and every calendar day that the work remains uncompleted or unaccepted by the District. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the Bidding process. No Bidder may withdraw any bid for a period of five (5) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
