Renovation of a transportation facility in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Accepting Letters of Interest Only. RFP issue date will be posted after LOI due date. Amtrak is seeking a contractor to replace the cooling tower at Harrisburg, PA station. The project is to take place when cooling of the station is not needed, avoiding the need for a temporary cooling tower. The contractor will be responsible for all scope outlined in the design documents supplied by Amtrak. This includes but is not limited to demo of existing cooling tower, procurement of all equipment and materials, installation of new cooling tower, and provide startup and commissioning. Firms must complete form "LOI - Contractor Qualifications - Harrisburg Cooling Tower Replacement" Amtrak shall have an option at any time, in its sole discretion, to add additional services associated with additional phases of this project to the scope of the Contract, subject to Amtrak's receipt of an acceptable proposal or proposals for such services from Contractor. Nothing herein shall obligate Amtrak to exercise options for award to the Contractor **Amtrak does not publicly make available bid tabulations or award information for any of their projects.**
