Site work, paving and new construction of a municipal facility in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a 75,000-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
As of July 3 2019, this project is bidding. An exact timeline for construction has not been established. This PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL and includes: GENERAL, HVAC, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND FIBER OPTIC CONSTRUCTION. PROJECT TITLE: This project consists of: Construction of a new State Archives on a newly acquired site centrally located near downtown Harrisburg. This project also includes additional space for the State Records Center Annex. ESTIMATED RANGE: .1 General - Over $20,000,000.00 .2 HVAC – Over $10,000,000.00 .3 Plumbing - $1,000,000.00 - $2,000,000.00 .4 Electrical - $2,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00 .5 Fiber Optic - $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00 The scope of work includes site acquisition and design and construction of a new PA State Archives Facility of approximately 75,000 square feet. The preference is for a one-story structure with high ceilings. The site shall be of sufficient size to accommodate a one-story structure of the size with additional room for future expansion of up to an additional 35,000 square feet.
