Renovation of a water / sewer project in San Mateo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Work is generally described as follows: 2.1. Arroyo Sewage Lift Station 2.1.1. Demolition of existing site work, including trees, fence, piping, site light, SCADA pole, hose bib, streetlight connection, landscaping, etc. 2.1.2. Demolition of existing control panel, cable and conduit. 2.1.3. Demolition of existing pumps, piping and accessories. 2.1.4. Abandonment of existing pump station drywell and abandonment/demolition of the existing wet well. 2.1.5. Modification of existing manhole and construction of new gravity sewer. 2.1.6. Construction of new wetwell and valve vault. 2.1.7. Construction of new electrical service, backup generator, structural improvements, control panel, pumps with associated piping, valving and other accessories, fencing with gates 2.1.8. Construction of new gravity sewer and force main systems. 2.1.9. Miscellaneous site improvements including concrete pad, curb & gutter, etc. 2.2. Kehoe Kelly Sewage Lift Station 2.2.1. Demolition of existing site work, including portions of incoming sewers, chain link fence, odor control equipment, hose bibb and electrical service. 2.2.2. Demolition of existing pumps, piping and associated appurtenances. 2.2.3. Abandonment of existing drywell. 2.2.4. Conversion of existing wet well to a flow through structure. 2.2.5. Construction of new electrical service, backup generator, structural improvements, control panel, pumps with associated piping, valving and other accessories, fencing with gates. 2.2.6. Construction of new wet well and valve vault. 2.2.7. Construction of odor control system. 2.2.8. Construction of new gravity sewer and force main systems. 2.2.9. Miscellaneous site improvements including concrete pad, sidewalks, driveways, curb & gutter, etc. 2.3. Los Prados No. 1 Sewage Lift Station 2.3.1. Demolition and abandonment of existing site improvements, including water service, storm drain, gravity sewer, sewer force main, fence, and roadway. 2.3.2. Demolition of existing pumps and associated equipment, including piping, valving, electrical equipment and control facilities. 2.3.3. Abandonment of existing wet well and drywell. 2.3.4. Construction of new pumps with associated piping, valving, flow meter, electrical equipment, flow meter and control equipment. 2.3.5. Construction of new electrical service, backup generator, structural improvements, control panel, pumps with associated piping, valving and other accessories. 2.3.6. Construction of new wet well and valve vault. 2.3.7. Reconfiguration of the existing street intersection. 2.3.8. Miscellaneous site improvements including water service, concrete pad, curb & gutter, etc. 2.4. Los Prados No. 2 Sewage Lift Station 2.4.1. Demolition and abandonment of existing site improvements, including incoming water service, storm drain, sewer, sewer force main, fence, and structures. 2.4.2. Demolition of existing pumps and associated equipment, including piping, valving, electrical equipment and control facilities. 2.4.3. Abandonment of existing wet well and drywell. 2.4.4. Abandonment of existing gravity sewer and force main systems. 2.4.5. Site restoration. Any questions regarding the Contract Documents should be directed to Laura Webb, Project Manager, in writing to lwebb@cityofsanmateo.org All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to the City of San Mateo in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the Bid. The time of substantial completion for this Contract shall be 400 working days, beginning from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The right is reserved, as the interest of the City may require, to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in Bids, and to accept, modify, or reject any items of the Bid, or in the case of a single Bid being received to extend the acceptance date by up to thirty (30) days with notice.
