Fire Extinguisher and Suppression System Service Question End Date 5/8/2025 3:00 PM EST Contact Tara Davis , Secondary Contact Denise Whitaker, Tertiary Contact Mariangelie Jorge Piggyback Solicitation No Insurance Required Yes Bid Bond Required No Performance Bond Required No Construction Bond Required No The School Board of Polk County, Florida hereinafter referred to as "District" is accepting sealed bids to establish competitive pricing for inspection and service of portable fire extinguishers, pre-engineered, engineered or CO2 automatic fire extinguishing systems. These are located in schools and other facilities owned by the district throughout Polk County, Florida. The service in this contract will include, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, incidentals and related items necessary to complete the work in accordance with the specifications contained herein. Polk County Public Schools employs a life safety inspector that works with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and engineers regarding fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems, as such they will make final determination to applicability of codes. Anticipated Award Date 6/10/2025 EST
