The City of Bartow, Florida (City) is actively seeking qualified, properly certified and/or licensed experienced contractor(s) to provide turn-key projects, including permitting, and regulatory requirements for various utility related construction projects on an ongoing as needed basis for the City of Bartow Public Works Department. Inquiries, if received prior to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, will be answered. The performance period shall be for a period of three (3) years unless terminated sooner under the provisions of a resulting negotiated contract with a renewal option of up to one (1) additional successive two (2) term, at the mutual agreement of both parties. A Bid Bond is required to be submitted with all construction quote or bids in excess of $150,000.00 in an amount not exceed five percent (5%) of the preliminary estimate of the cost of the work (amount bid). A Public Construction or Performance and Payment Bond will be required on all construction contracts when the price exceeds $250,000. The City of Bartow reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, and to enter into a contract or series of contracts determined to be in its best interest, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation.
