The School Board of Polk County, Florida is interested in entering into a contract with a qualified Construction Management firm to provide Construction Management Services for the project(s) listed below. Work shall be of a specified nature as outlined in the contract required by the District. The Construction Manager (CM) is responsible for the successful, timely and economical completion of the construction project. Pursuant to F.S. 1010.04(5), effective July 1, 2023, School Districts, Florida College System Institutions and State Universities may not: (a) Request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests. (b) Give preference to a vendor based on the vendor's social, political, or ideological interests. To be eligible for consideration, interested firms must be qualified pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida and School Board Policies and Procedures. ***Prebid meeting: Those firms desiring to provide services for the listed project must complete and submit initial screening criteria after attending the mandatory Pre-Submittal Conference.
