A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work includes the removal and replacement of the skimmer mechanism and support members, scum trough and exposed scum trough piping, sludge collector arm scraper blades, collector drive mechanism, spalled concrete repair, and recoating of above-water steel components for Sludge Thickener No. 2, located at the Stony Brook Regional Sewerage Authority's River Road WWTP, 290 River Road, Princeton, NJ 08540. Certified, Treasurer's or Cashier's Check or bid bond in the sum of 10 percent of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000, Agreement of Surety, Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification (if bid amount is greater than or equal to $800,000), List of Subcontractors, Ownership Disclosure, Bidder's Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, References, Acknowledgement of Receipt of Changes, Bidders Check List, and Questionnaire are required with each Bid. Bidders shall not remove and submit the Bid pages separate from the volume of Contract Documents, but shall submit their Bid bound with the complete volume of attached Contract Documents, including all pages correctly assembled and all Addenda attached. In the event that a potential bidder obtains the Contract Documents in any manner other than as specified herein, the Stony Brook Regional Sewerage Authority will not have the contact information of the potential bidder for purposes of issuing bid addenda, if any. The non-receipt of any addenda (in the event that any addenda are issued) and the failure of the bidder to acknowledge the receipt of any and all addenda at the time of bid shall be considered a fatal defect in such Bidder's submission and said Bid shall be immediately rejected. Therefore, if a potential bidder obtains the Bid Documents in any manner other than as specified herein, said Bidder shall promptly provide written notice to the Stony Brook Regional Sewerage Authority of its name, mailing address and email address. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond in the form required by N.J.S.A. 2A:44-147. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and, N.J.A.C. 17:27.
