Site work for a mixed-use development in Cache Creek, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a clubhouse / community center; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Owner is seeking to engage a general contractor to complete one infrastructure recovery project related to the 2023 Cache Creek Flood. All work will be done in accordance with MMCD and supplemental specifications outlined in the enclosed sample agreement. The completion of the following work is expected (approximate quantities): Project Parking Lot Restoration (DFA PROJECT #9) Mitigation Works – Erosion and Sediment Control: Installing a construction fence on the pavement surface Installing a silt fence adjacent to the creek Note: Section 11 information has been submitted to WSA, but a response is pending. Additional environmental measures may be required. Saw-cutting pavement Removing and disposing of cut asphalt and curbs Debris removal and disposal Grading and filling the slope to the design specifications using either reused material or imported embankment fill, depending on the quality of the existing material Constructing a gravel shoulder for transition between the existing pavement and the graded slope Constructing a drainage channel with Class 10kg RipRap over geotextile, with common material as the base Removing the storm manhole
