Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Miami Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of August 5, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The types of contracts available under the MCC Program are construction projects, facility repairs, neighborhood improvements, emergency repairs and maintenance work with a maximum value of $5.0M; ORD 09-101. All capital departments are participating. Additional opportunities are available through Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which enables low-income families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. Funds are used to improve the energy performance of dwellings by families in need, using the most advanced technologies and testing procedures available in the housing industry. Measures to make homes more energy efficient include: replacement or installation of key components, installation of energy recovery ventilation systems including bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans and installation of whole mechanical exhaust systems to provide better indoor air quality, install attic insulation, install window solar films, repair or replace inefficient cooling units, repair or replace water heaters and address air infiltration with weather stripping, caulking thresholds, minor wall repairs, ceiling and floors, windows and doors. The Project, including mobilization and demobilization, consists of furnishing and installing approximately 500 linear feet of 10-inch and 370 linear feet of 12-inch PVC C900 pipe and zinc coated polyethylene encased ductile iron fittings for a sewage force main along Venetian Way between 850 N Venetian Dr and 920 N Venetian Dr West of PS-0058; abandonment in place and grout filling of approximately 497 linear feet of 10-inch and 368 linear feet of 12-inch DIP force main. Project also includes exploratory digging and restoration for 10- inch and 12-inch DIP FM connections; three (3) 10-inch and three (3) 12-inch plug valves; making two (2) cut-in plug connections to an existing sewage 10-inch DIP force main and two (2) cut-in connections to an existing sewage 12-inch DIP force main and one (1) cut-in connection to an existing sewage 16- inch DIP force main through a reducer; mechanical joint restraints; furnishing and constructing automatic air release valves assemblies for sewage force mains; polyethylene encasement for ductile iron valves, fittings and restraints; sheeting and shoring ordered left in place by the Engineer; additional suitable backfill, if needed; furnish all materials, equipment and supplies necessary for cleaning and testing the main; cutting, dewatering; removal of existing asphalt pavement, sidewalk and sod; removal, transport, salvage, and legal disposal of demolition material; protection of existing trees; temporary and permanent replacement of any pavement, sidewalk, sod, landscaping and pavement markings damaged by the construction of the Project and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete and fully functional installation, including installation of a temporary construction fence to prevent park users from accessing any part of the construction zone or staging zone. All fencing shall be coordinated with the park owner. The bid set includes electronic bid instructions. Training on electronic bid submission is available every Monday from 9 - 10 and every Wednesday from 1 - 2. Question Deadline 06/05/2025 The RFI cut-off date is five (5) business days prior to the bid due date. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detail Scope of Work. The original Bid bond Security (in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check) MUST be delivered to WASD, at the address above, BEFORE the bids are opened. Failure to deliver the original will result in the bid submission being rejected as non-responsive ESTIMATED COST: $386,600.00
