Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mishawaka, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project Description: The project consists of construction of a submersible lift station including relining of an existing wet well, installation of a new valve vault, pumps, piping, valves, 4-inch forcemain replacement, controls, telemetry, site work and all associated appurtenances. Project also includes roadway reconstruction from the intersection of Cottage Avenue and Harding Avenue south to the intersection of Harding Avenue and Ridge Road, along with water main and water service lateral replacements, full depth pavement reconstruction, new concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk replacement, and other pertinent work as described in the project documents. The General Contractor shall be prequalified by INDOT to perform a minimum of one (1) work type applicable to this project. A certified check payable to the City of Mishawaka, Indiana or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the contract price before commencing work.
