Project will rebid Spring 2026.** The County of Santa Cruz, General Services Department (GSD) is accepting sealed bids for the Ben Lomond Transfer Station Improvements Project. The scope of work consists of installation of a new 14,000 square foot canopy roof over the existing recycling area, including the rerouting of a portion of a sanitary sewer line; spill containment upgrades, safety improvements, and a new 1,000 square foot canopy roof over the existing household hazardous waste area; repairs to the existing concrete retaining wall / push wall; electrical upgrades to the facility; and interior structural retrofits to the existing transfer station building. The project may also include demolition of the existing scale house and scales and reconstruction of a new scale house with new scales in the same location and installation of a new overhead directional sign. General Work Description The project is located at 9835 Newell Creek Rd, Ben Lomond, CA 95005.
