Renovation of an educational facility in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. Renovate the main entrance to the NSHE Claude Howard Building. The project scope includes replacement of the main entrance patio, stairs, guardrails, handrails, ADA parking, drive aisle pavement, and landscaping. Special Considerations: Blackout dates for construction (no work permitted) include July 10, 2025, July 18, 2025, September 11, 2025, and September 12, 2025. In addition, we anticipate the possibility of up to five (5) additional construction blackout dates during the construction timeline. The contractor will be notified a minimum of five (5) business days in advance of any additional construction blackout dates. Question Deadline 05/15/2025 at 5:00 PM PT 5/22/2025 05:00 PM (PT) Type Non Participation All questions submitted prior to the Activity Date cut-off will be answered by the Activity Date posted via this website. Estimated Cost Range: $176,000 to $276,000 Liquidated Damages: $500/day Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "July 7, 2025" and shall be fully complete by "October 31, 2025." *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
