Truckee Meadows Water Authority invites qualified firms to submit proposals for Construction Management Services for the Advanced Purified Water Facility at American Flat Project in Reno, NV. OneWater Nevada is a regional initiative focused on addressing the Greater Reno area’s water challenges and long-term water sustainability. The OneWater Nevada Advanced Purified Water Facility (APWF) Project is a groundwater recharge project undertaken by OneWater Nevada and led by the City of Reno and Truckee Meadows Water Authority. TMWA has issued and awarded Record Steel and Construction (RSCI) as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services during the design phase of this project. The Project goals include production of category A+ Advanced Purified Water (APW) meeting the State of Nevada category A+ requirements, optimizing operational aspects of aquifer storage and recovery using APW at the American Flat site, and total water management in the North Valleys, including management of the effluent from the Reno Stead Water Reclamation Facility. The estimated construction cost is $180M and construction is anticipated to start in the fall of 2025 to spring of 2026. The construction schedule and 90% design drawings are included in this RFP in the Appendices. The Project involves improvements at the Reno-Stead Water Reclamation Facility (RSWRF), a new Advanced Purified Water Facility (APWF), Export Pump Station, conveyance pipeline, finished water storage tanks, and injection, monitoring, and extraction wells. It also includes a potablewater pipeline for a future connection to the TMWA water system This request for proposals is to evaluate and select a construction management Firm that will provide services for the project team during construction as detailed in this RFP. The selected Construction Management firm shall provide third party construction management services for the APWF Project to include resident engineering, onsite observation, contract and financial documentation assistance, oversee and coordinate Owner provided special inspections, review project schedule, work to identify scheduling conflicts, document and provide corrective actions for defective materials or installation, manage and review project submittals and requests for information, coordinate construction activities with the Owners representatives, and resolve field conflicts in a timely manner to minimize impacts to construction schedules.
