This Project consists of the construction of a new building to house a future generator for the Gruening Park Sewer Lift Station. The WORK includes block masonry building, associated electrical work, site development (including earthwork and paving), site utilities, and other miscellaneous related WORK. Drawings and general provisions of the contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. The scope of electrical work for this project includes new electrical systems for the new generator building, accommodations for future generator system and pump control panel, and refeeding existing area light pole. The existing lift station has a stand-alone electrical rack with electrical and telephone service, main circuit breaker, automatic transferswitch, pump control paneljunction boxes for connection to pump cables and multi-trode cables, and a portable generator with connection into the rack for output power, shore power, and controls from the automatic transfer switch. The existing lift station system is to be protected and maintained. The electrical work includes providing the power, heat, and lighting for the new Gruening Park Generator Building. The work includes new utility services, service equipment, and provisions (shore power receptacle) for the existing portable standby generator. See Section 01025, Paragraph 16.1 above for full electrical work scope description. All work shown on the electrical Drawings and included in Division 16 of these Specifications shall be provided BUY AMERICA PROVISION.
