The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities intends to solicit professional engineering design development services for the design of new continuous illumination along Glacier Hwy from Jensine Street to Fritz Cove Road (MP 9.6 to 10.9). This work is expected to furnish design services through final PS&E bid documents for approximately 30 new overhead lighting poles and associated LED luminaires including new electrical service wiring. Professional engineering services will include all electrical engineering and associated civil, structural and geotechnical engineering services as may be required. Services further include assistance during bidding and design support during construction. Estimated Amount of Proposed Contract:Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
