To begin to meet this need, the University intends to design and construct three (3) new student housing projects at the current North Mountain and K-2 parking sites and renovate six (6) existing residential halls at the current South Mountain site. Presently, the intent is to use a phased approach for three new construction projects and six renovation projects over the course of the ten-year Program, starting design in January 2024. Projects would be completed strategically to reduce the impact to campus life and allow for students to continue with no interruption. Preliminary Design-Build cost estimates for the three new housing projects range from $175M to $275M each, with the six renovation projects ranging from $24M to $31M each.
