Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed by August 15, 2025. Question Deadline 05/08/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Location online portal. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: the following: Removal/replacement of existing storm inlet and storm pipes, installation of 15" HDPE (180'), Pavement Base Drain (100'), asphalt leveling course, 1.5" asphalt overlay and stone shoulder back up. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project exhibits. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding a portion of this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 in place at the time of bid submission unless otherwise specified. Bidders need to be PennDOT Pre-qualified for Work Class F. Mahanoy Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township.
