Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

As of August 15, 2025, the project has been awarded to the following: AFFORDABLE CONSTRUCTION & DEMO LLC - $110140 Contract - A/B/C KASS CONTRACTING - $23,444 Contract D with the total awarded amount of $133,584 Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least ten (10%) per cent of the total amount bid. Such bid bond will be returned to all bidders upon the signing of the contract to the successful bidder. IMPORTANT NOTE: Money orders and personal checks are NOT acceptable forms of bid security; as per the provisions of the County Code. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guaranty. Certified checks shall be made payable to "COUNTY OF SCHUYLKILL"; bid bonds shall name the County of Schuylkill as obligee. Attention is called to the fact that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on ANY SINGLE BID THAT IS IN EXCESS OF $25,000.00. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, ancestry, national origin or handicap; and that the Contractor (and any subcontractors) is obligated to make a "diligent effort" to achieve these ratios. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation and related matters The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding or to reject any or all items or portions thereof.
