General Conditions for all roads - unless otherwise specified below: Maintain a minimum of one lane at all times. All turning movements at intersections must be maintained at all times. Maintain all auxiliary turn lanes at intersections weekdays between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM and between 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Lane widths are required to be a minimum of 3.5 m. Provide traffic control persons as required, priority to be given to transit. Contractor shall provide a minimum of four (4) weeks notice to Contract Administrator prior to proposed road closures. The Contractor is responsible to coordinate access with the City of Ottawa Emergency Services. A full closure of both roads are permitted for the bridge works. All full closures can only be permitted for the duration of construction at each bridge. Copeland Road Bridge (SN753110): Copeland Road may be closed for a maximum of 10 consecutive weeks to complete the bridge rehabilitation work. Local access is to be accommodated at all times. Detour shall be via Dwyer Hill Road, Franktown Road and Munster Road as per the Contract Drawings. Outside of the closure, single lane reductions will be permitted with certified traffic control persons. Garvin Road Bridge (SN (757490): Garvin Road may be closed for a maximum of 8 consecutive weeks to complete the bridge replacement work. Local access is to be accommodated at all times. Detour shall be via Joys Road, Perth Street and Huntley Road as per the Contract Drawings. At the time of tendering, the Tenderer shall submit, with its Tender, a deposit in the form of an electronic bid bond from the Tenderer's surety in favour of the City of Ottawa. The amount of the Tender deposit shall equal at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price.
