Question Deadline 05/13/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All questions must be submitted to Miguel Acosta in writing at macosta@haws.org. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and perform all operations necessary to perform lawn care maintenance at the HAWS managed properties. The agency requires the contractor to provide service as specified in the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS. Maintenance and service at this location shall be performed without interference or hazard to HAWS personnel and daily operations of the business. 2. LAWNCARE - MOWING/TRIMMING/EDGING/WEEDING A. All trash and debris (ex. litter, glass, medium to large sticks) will be picked up and hauled away prior to mowing. If any graffiti or property damage is observed, notify Housing Authority's Capital Department staff. B. All lots will be mowed and/or bush hogged twice a month, weather permitting, during cutting season. The cutting, mowing & blowing periods are April through September depending on the weather conditions during the individual year. Lots will be maintained as required to remain within city guidelines and ordinances. All fines for not adhering to city guidelines and ordinances will be paid by the contractor through reduction of payment. Extra mowing shall be at the request of the Authority's Capital Department staff and shall be handled through purchase orders. C. All lots not accessible by mowers will be groomed using trimmers (weed eaters) and/or edged. All lots are to be edged. Contractor will ensure that any equipment does not damage properties, sidewalks, landscaping, or sprinkler systems. repaired to the owner's satisfaction at the contractor's expense. D. Eliminate grass from cracks in sidewalks and curbs. Any damage will be E. Blow grass clippings from all sidewalks, parking lots and roadways after each cut and clear kudzu from all sidewalks.
