**As of June 20, 2025 , the project was awarded to v, with an awarded amount of $1,494,494.00.** STATE GRANT NO. 20-AHSC-14708 The primary scope of work is to construct sustainable transportation improvements in support of the AHSC Pacific Apartments project located throughout Coalinga, CA. The work consists of, but is not limited to: construction surveying, traffic control, demolition of existing concrete & pavement improvements, construction of new concrete sidewalk and driveways, installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps, development of Class I, Class III, and Class IV bikeways, and installation of new bike rack stations. Additional improvements include sustainable solar street lighting and infrastructure. Completion of the project will enhance safety, mobility, and accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users throughout the community. Engineers estimate is $1,670,591. 00. All base bid work shall be completed within SEVENTY-FIVE (75) working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Each bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security, cash, a cashier's or certified check payable to the City of Coalinga, or bid bond issued by a corporate surety, for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the bid, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded to him. Such guarantee will be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract. A Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount and a Labor and Materials Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required by the City from the bidder to whom the contract is awarded. Said bonds shall be issued by a surety company who is an admitted surety insurer authorized by the California Department of Insurance to transact business in this state, and acceptable to the City of Coalinga.
