Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 05/05/2025 5:00 PM (EDT) Greenville Water (GW) provides drinking water to more than 660,000 residents in upstate South Carolina sourced from the two watersheds it owns, North Saluda and Table Rock. As a direct result of Hurricane Helene (DR-4829-SC), GW sustained extensive damage to its North Saluda and Table Rock Watersheds. The Hurricane deposited significant quantities of storm-related debris consisting of vegetative debris, downed trees, and earthen material throughout the two watersheds. This occurred during the Hurricane Helene incident period from 9/25/2024 - 10/7/2024. Due to the nature of the hurricane, damage is widespread in the expansive 20,000-acre North Saluda and 10,000-acre Table Rock watersheds. Much of each watershed has yet to be accessed as debris blocks access points and roads have been washed out. GW hereby issues a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Monitoring of Disaster Debris Clearance Operations (Cut, Push, and Chip in Place) Along Roadways in the North Saluda and Table Rock Watersheds from experienced Contractors to provide debris monitoring services. Under separate contract, the debris will be cut and pushed, removed from the roads, chipped in place, and where necessary secured for debris removal/disposal at a later time and date. All work will be performed as directed by Greenville Water and their agent(s).
