The City of Greenville is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the Fisher Drive Sewer Upgrade Project The City's SanitarySewer Division is responsible formaintaining 355 miles of sanitary sewer lines and 9,375 manholes. This work includes making remedial repairsto the City's sewer system, to ensure proper functionality and to reduce inflow and infiltration into the City's sanitary sewer system. This project will focus on rehabilitating existing sanitary sewer mains within the City to improve the system's reliability and performance. This project includes approximately 454 linear feet of replacement of 8-inch diameter sewers with 12-inch diameter sewers by pipe bursting; 1,007 linear feet of open cut trenching to install 12" pipe (PVC and ductile iron]; 40 linear feet ofjack and bore steel encased pipe crossing of a creek; 13 sewer service lateral replacements; Installing/replacing 13 manholes; and other related work as described in the plans.
