Price Range: $11 - $15 million The proposed project includes the reconstruction of failing pavement and the upgrade of airfield lighting systems at designated areas of the airport. The pavement-related work consists of the rehabilitation and fillet upgrades at Taxiways B1, B2, B3, and portions of Taxiway B. The project will include the relocation of Taxiway B between B1 and B2, and the rehabilitation of Taxiway B between B2 and B3. Work will include the installation of new taxiway lighting, airfield signage, pavement markings, drainage enhancements, and grassing. The electrical portion of the project includes the full conversion of the airport's existing incandescent airfield lighting systems to LED systems. This includes the replacement of existing runway lights on Runway 5-23 with LED high-intensity runway lights, and the replacement of taxiway lights with LED medium-intensity taxiway lights along Taxiways A, A2, A3, A4, B, B1, B2, B3, B4, and B5. The existing PAPI systems, airfield guidance signs, primary wind cone, and rotating beacon will be replaced with LED fixtures, and the existing 5kV airfield lighting cables and constant current regulators will also be replaced.
