The City of Davis Police Department (DPD) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from interested and qualified vendors (Proposers) for a Contract to provide homeless encampment clean up services; collect and remove abandoned property from public spaces; and transport the abandoned property to a City of Davis owned/operated storage site to be temporarily stored within the guidelines of the City of Davis Municipal Code 26.06.010. The vendor should have the ability to identify and address the refuse problem associated with property pick-up (e.g., soiled property or perishable items). Interested vendors are invited to submit proposals in accordance with the conditions outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The desired contract commencement date will be August 1, 2025. Payment terms are assumed to be Net 30 days after receipt of any services unless otherwise specified in the proposal documents. Any exceptions to the specifications or scope of work must be approved in writing prior to submission of the proposal.
