Renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Cadiz, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Remodeling of an existing approximately 18,000 sf commercial building and an addition of approximately 1,200 sf. The entirety of the existing interior fit-up will be demolished and replaced with new construction. Approximately the northernmost third of the existing building is not fit-up and does not currently have a floor slab. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. Any bids not submitted on the proper form shall not be considered. Prevailing wage rates will not apply to this project. There are Alternates for: a) Removal of architectural features from the building elevations. b) Replacement of pole-mounted site lighting The Architect and Engineers may take questions until 5:00 p.m. CDT on, May 8, 2025. Written Questions, including Requests for Substitutions due on May 9, 2025 A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. An addition of a new entrance canopy at the existing Trigg County Middle School. This portion of work involves the addition of a prefabricated canopy, the addition of new natural stone columns and pilasters. Sidewalk improvements, lighting improvements, additional building cladding are being added as well as a backlit exterior sign. 2. Renovation of the existing Trigg County High School Gym up to approximately 28,156 square feet (with all alternates selected). The renovation consists of the installation of a new elevator and shaft inside the existing building including electrical upgrades, replacement of gymnasium equipment, bleacher replacement as well as adding HVAC equipment.
