Site work for a transportation facility in Guelph, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The City is seeking Proposals from qualified Proponents to provide the following: a) The provision of civil, structural, or electrical engineered shop drawings of each Passenger Information Display (PID) location including enclosure, mounting equipment, bracket, wiring and conduits. b) The deployment, installation, configuration, and ongoing hosting of a content management system (CMS) including GTFS static and GTFS real-time integration. c) PIDs would be installed at select bus terminals and bus stop locations. The purpose of the PIDs is to display real-time information regarding service, schedules, estimated time of arrivals, estimated time of departures, service interruptions etc. d) Additional information displayed depending on the sign type includes weather, time, alerts, emergency messages, news, video feeds/streams, websites (via URL), social media, and QR codes linking to online service schedules. e) A Central Management System (CMS) shall also be provided to operate, monitor, and facilitate the signs. f) The supply and installation of new PID, enclosure, mounting equipment, wiring, etc. g) Testing, training, and documentation for all hardware, software or accessories. h) Warranty and support of the CMS and installed PID software and hardware components. The City is seeking Proposals from Responsible Proponents that have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide the Services sought.
